Costs

The followin are just a few items to give you an idea of costs : it is by no means an exhaustive list and varies depending on the difficulty of the job and amount of laboratory work required. Be advised that all laboratory work is performed in registered establishments.

Terms of Business

We ask patients to pay after each visit as they go along and to complete payment before treatment concludes
Any other payment strategy must be agreed before treatment commences
Treatment plans involving laboratory work must be paid up before fitting
We regret that a fee of €90.00 will accrue to missed appointments
It is practice policy to send on unpaid accounts for agency collection
We take Access and Visa

 

If you have any questions concerning the charges for your work, please do not hesitate to ask.  All prices are inclusive.  They cover laboratory fees and normal procedures associated with the work.  Laboratory work is guaranteed against inherent defects for a period of two years.  Treatment items followed by a zero amount do not apply to your particular clinical circumstances on the estimate.  Your attention is drawn to the terms of the business of the practice.  Payment is made as treatment progresses. 

 

P.R.S.I.  is not a comprehensive care system: a contribution is made towards the cost of your treatment. The amount contributed depends largely on how much you earn and how long you have worked in various  years. The price you are given on a  quotation for treatment involving a PRSI contribution is what you have to pay : the remaining amount being paid by the Department directly to the practice.

Not everyone who pays P.R.S.I. actually qualifies for dental benefit. It is your responsibility to satisfy yourself that you do in fact qualify.
